It comes as the UK is set to welcome the largest ever container shipload of goods into the country from a US port.
A new facility will be built in the state of Maryland and will make up to 15,000 vehicles and 4,000 trailer-building capacity.
The government said the new facility would bring more than 10,000 jobs to the US.
The new facility is set for construction later this year.
It will bring up to 3,000 full-time jobs to Britain, according to a government statement.
The new factory is being built by US-based United States Trucking and Investment, a subsidiary of the US government.
The company will manufacture the first 100 vehicles and up to 50 trailer-making facilities in the UK and the US, and produce up, the statement said.
British Prime Minister Theresa May’s government has committed to supporting up to 80,000 construction jobs by 2020 in order to boost exports to the UK.
The UK has pledged to double the number of container ships the country can send into the European Union by 2020, with more than 2,500 being sent to ports in the EU over the coming two years, the UK government said in its 2016/17 economic and social plan.
