NFL fans will experience their favorite teams in a totally different way this year when the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
The game will be a special one for the fans, as the new stadium has a retractable roof that will allow fans to get close to the action.
Fans can expect to see the most action of the season, with the game taking place at kickoff and continuing through halftime.
This will be the first time that a game has been played on a retractible roof since Super Bowl XXVII in 2009, which saw the Patriots and Falcons play at Levi the following season.
The new stadium also has a unique retractable seating structure that allows fans to stand at the goal line to watch the game.
In addition, fans will be able to sit in front of the Superdome in the new seating structure for the first game of the 2017 season.
“The Super Bowl is going to be the most exciting and memorable event in the history of professional sports,” Super Bowl producer and executive producer Rob Corddry told reporters.
“The retractable stadium will allow for a true immersive experience for fans.
I can’t wait for you to see it.”
The game was originally scheduled to be played at the San Diego Superdrome in 2018, but it was moved to Levi’s stadium in 2019.
The San Francisco stadium will host the game for the fourth time.
The Superdomes game will air live on CBS Sports Network and will be streamed live on NFL GamePass.
The game will also be shown on the CBS Sports app.
Fans can tune into the game via the CBS app, as well as CBS Sports Radio, SiriusXM NFL Radio and the CBS Mobile App.
